The strangest sensation came over me as I stood there. I was looking at the silverware, the placemats and feeling like I had no right to be in that restaurant helping in the kitchen.

Suddenly, it was almost as if a voice, your voice, said to me "you can do this". Then there I was, cleaning and setting tables and moving through that place as if you were doing it for me because it felt as though I had been doing it for years!

I walked back into the kitchen with a new confidence, breading fish, making salads, cutting potatoes. You were doing it for me or with me. Then I looked up at Renee, and she was there too.
