For Mom with Love, Sue

For my Mom...for all the times I have needed you in my life since your death... You were my saving strength when you were alive and now in death you are my peace... I share now my thoughts of you and my sweet memories of the most beautiful woman I have ever known.

I am a mom of 4 wonderful boys that have grown faster than I can blink right before my eyes. This is a collection of stories that I have written to try to capture some of those moments I would probably forget otherwise.

Today

I was thinking about you again today.

I just got over a terrible case of the flu and my head hurt so bad. I remember how when I was little, you would escape to your bedroom to lay down when you didn't feel good. You never wanted us to see you feeling bad.

I envy that strength you had.

My children know that when you have a headache, you take some Tylenol and lay on the couch with an ice pack on your head. Sometimes I wonder if that is a bad thing...

They worry so much when I am sick.

They worry so much when I am hurt.

You never let us worry about anything.

You always took care of it. You always took care of everything - except yourself.

You were the least selfish person I ever knew in my life. I get that from you a lot, I like to be last on my list of important things...

But boy, do I worry!!
